I’ve heard of Tafraoute and its breathtaking beauty a long time ago but I haven’t managed to get there, until Sunday. I woke up in the morning with this urge of visiting a new place to get mesmerized by nature, and since I get to see the ocean very often I wanted to be inspired by mountains.

What life looks like in Morocco from an expat perspective?

What are the things that fascinate me about Morocco and why this country should be on your travel-to list!

I’m living in Morocco since 2015 and I never believed that I can have such contradictory feelings about a country. I usually get along and accommodate very easy in any place. At least this was the case until I moved to Morocco.

I love this country in so many ways but, at the same time, there are things that make me scream and make me feel I just wanna leave. Though, the reasons for which I love Morocco make me stay… for now.

I also met foreigners that wouldn’t trade Morocco for any other country in the world so, it’s just a matter of perception and personal connection with the place.
